Delhi NCR Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants: Building for a Query Calendar, Not a Calendar Year

Professional services search in Delhi NCR is seasonal in a way most industries are not. A chartered accountant's enquiry volume is not a flat line with a slow upward trend — it is a set of spikes tied to statutory dates, and the websites in this sector are almost all built as though demand were constant.

That mismatch is the opportunity. If you know the spikes, you can have the page ready eight weeks before the search happens instead of writing it during the week everybody is looking.

The calendar that drives the searches

Roughly, and depending on what extensions the year brings:

  • April to July — income tax return queries build steadily. "itr filing consultant delhi", "which itr form", "itr for freelancers", "capital gains on property sale tax".
  • Monthly, around the 11th and 20th — GST return queries. GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B deadlines produce a reliable monthly cycle that almost nobody builds content for.
  • September to November — audit season, tax audit queries, company annual filings, and the ROC deadlines.
  • January to March — tax saving, advance tax, investment proof, and the whole 80C cluster. This is the single largest spike of the year for anybody serving salaried individuals.
  • Year-round — company incorporation, GST registration, trademark, FSSAI, import-export code. These are not seasonal and they are the most commercially valuable queries in the practice.

Build eight weeks early, not during

A page published the week a deadline hits will not rank for that deadline. It takes time to be crawled, indexed, and to accumulate any signal at all. A page published eight to ten weeks ahead has a chance.

So the content calendar runs ahead of the statutory one. The 80C and tax-saving pages get written in November, not in February. The ITR cluster gets written in February, not in June. This single scheduling change does more for a professional-services site than most technical work, and it costs nothing but planning.

It also means the page exists to be updated rather than rewritten. Last year's ITR guide, updated with this year's dates, limits and form changes, keeping the same URL, is worth considerably more than a new URL every year. Changing the URL annually throws away whatever the previous version had earned.

The pages Delhi NCR practices are missing

Service pages at the grain of the service. Not one "Taxation" page. A page for ITR filing for salaried individuals, one for ITR for business income, one for GST registration, one for GST return filing, one for company incorporation, one for ROC compliance. Each is a distinct query with distinct volume.

Fee indications. "ca fees for itr filing", "gst return filing charges" and their variants are searched constantly. Practices are reluctant to publish fees, and the ones that publish a band win the enquiries. "From ₹X for a salaried return with one Form 16, from ₹Y where capital gains are involved" is enough.

Document checklists. "documents required for gst registration", "documents for company registration". High volume, easy to rank for, and the reader is at the exact moment of acting. Every checklist page should link into the matching service page.

Locality pages, but only where they are real. "ca in dwarka", "chartered accountant noida sector 62", "tax consultant gurgaon". If you have an office there or genuinely serve that area with named people, build it. If not, do not — a thin generated locality page helps nobody and dilutes the service pages.

Why the local pack matters so much here

For almost every "ca near me" style query the map pack sits above everything organic, and in Delhi NCR the pack is fiercely contested. Three things move it: a complete Business Profile with the right primary category, a continuous flow of recent reviews, and consistency between the address on the profile and the address on the website. The third is where most practices quietly lose — an old address in the footer, a different one on the profile, and a third on a directory listing from 2019.

What to do first

  1. Split the single services page into six service pages at query grain.
  2. Add a fee band to each one.
  3. Write four document-checklist pages and link each into its service page.
  4. Fix address consistency across the site, the Business Profile and the main directories.
  5. Then start the seasonal calendar, working eight weeks ahead of each statutory date.

That order is deliberate: the year-round commercial pages come first because they earn every month, and the seasonal content is built on top of a site that already converts.

If you run a practice in the region and want the service split and the seasonal calendar worked out against your own enquiry pattern, that is the kind of plan I build as an SEO expert in Delhi.
